TAD 28

Introducing Thing a Day number 28! Yippee!!!! I made it. I made one thing a day for 28 days. I actually made more than 28 but hey whose counting. I went overboard with TAD 28. The front and the back look very pleasing with many layers on either side. The piece is about 3 inches long. I can’t wait to wear it. I really loved learning this technique and it actually saved me from figuring out what the heck I was going to come up with next. Thank you again Lynn Reno

TAD 27 are Gold angel wings. It was hard for me to take a picture of them. I had to pair it up with TAD 26 so you can see the difference. One more day left.....

While walking down the road I found this angel wing. I looked and looked for the angel to help her put it back on and finally found her. She had already grown another wing and told me to keep this one for good luck. (Lord knows I need all the luck I can get.) I made a bail for it and it became a pendant. I think I want to pair it with my TAD 25.

TAD 25

Another fine day in the neighborhood. We had freezing rain yesterday that turned in to only 4 inches of snow. Hubby cleaned my car off this morning so I could go to work. TAD 24 was given to my fhs4e (Favorite hair stylist forever) which turns out to be Gina B my hair stylist. She liked the pendant. She was wearing wing earrings which gave me an idea for my TAD 26. I have been looking at angel wings for some time and wanted to figure out how to make them. I think I have a way of doing it. Will see tomorrow. Thank God it's Friday. 3 more days to TAD. It has just flown right on by.

TAD 23

Alright ya'll… It has been one very good day! I walked out of the office at 5:36pm. Can't remember the last time that happened. #2 - I finally figured out my colors for Jana Roberts Benzon's class next weekend. Though I still have to condition a lot of clay. #3 -- I am so excited (jumping up & down.) It took me 4 times to finally get the dang channels to work properly. I love that it finally worked with the industrial scrap technique.  Meet my TAD 23.

Yep you guessed it.  Industrial scrap pendant once more. Rosie riveter comes to mind. She worked hard, "We Can do It!" Rosie was melting so much metal she decided to make a few pieces of jewelry.

Industrial scrap pendant again. Okay really? This is taking off like the steampunk did last year. What is wrong with me? I was reincarnated, that's what it is. I love the late 1800's and think I was once a beautiful rich southern bell that had a beautiful plantation but there were many problems encountered along the way. The Victorian era was there but where the heck did the industrial scrap come from? Hmmm. Later on the rest of the story or please add to it if you know. Thank you again Lynn Reno.

I took the dogs for a walk today. It was so beautiful outside and didn't even wear a jacket. TAD 20 is another Lynn Reno pendant. I love this technique. Not real happy with this turn out but will learn from the experience...
